We live in a world where people do THE MOST. Like that one co-worker who not only eats salads everyday for lunch, she also makes her own salad dressing. Annnd, she teaches Zumba, does yoga in the morning and encourages you to have compassion on that mofo at work that gets on errrybody nerves. Like I said, THE MOST.
On this occasion I’d like to cater to human nature. Let’s talk doing THE LEAST.
You keep telling yourself you’re going to work out right? And that gym membership you’re not using could have a bought a Benz by now (okay maybe a Fiat). Point is you’re not going to the gym, which means you’re not exercising either. So let’s do the least. Try this routine:
10 jumping jacks
2 push-ups (knees on the ground)
This routine takes less than 10 minutes. Like I said, THE LEAST.
Of course these exercises won’t get you a body like Serena Williams, but it does get your body in motion, which is an important step toward good health.
Now, let’s talk food. The least you should be doing is eating something raw twice a week. Raw, like a salad, a banana, an apple or a green smoothie. Your body is the only place you have to live. It is your temple, your birthright, the very place you throw shade from, so doing the minimum should be a fairly easy negotiation to make.
And if you’re one of those people that don’t drink water. You should at least drink a glass of water everyday. While this isn’t proper hydration, it gets you in the habit of drinking water and gears you toward reaching your goals. Dryness and cuteness are not synonymous.
The point in doing the least, is that it will build your tolerance for doing
the most more.
You got this!
Cheers to baby steps!…and good health.
